Competing Interest by Reviewer

Reviewers for the Jazer Journal of Translational Health Science (JJTHS) must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the objectivity, integrity, or impartiality of their evaluation. If a reviewer has any personal, professional, financial, or academic relationship with the authors or affiliated institutions, or believes they cannot provide an unbiased assessment, they should decline the review invitation and notify the editorial office promptly.

Conflicts of interest may include, but are not limited to:

  • Current or recent collaboration with any of the authors (within the past three years)
  • Affiliation with the same institution as any of the authors
  • Shared funding sources or involvement in related research projects
  • Personal relationships, whether positive or negative, with the authors
  • Financial or competitive interests related to the manuscript
  • Any circumstance that may reasonably compromise impartial judgment

Although the journal follows a double-blind peer review process, reviewers who suspect the identity of the authors and identify a potential conflict must recuse themselves from the review process.

By accepting a review assignment, reviewers confirm that they have no conflicts of interest and agree to provide a fair, unbiased, and confidential evaluation of the manuscript.
