Correction Policy

The Jazer Journal of Translational Health Science (JJTHS) is committed to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record. The journal recognizes the importance of a transparent post-publication policy to address errors that do not compromise the overall validity of a published work, in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

A correction (erratum or corrigendum) is issued when minor errors are identified that do not affect the scientific results, interpretation, or conclusions of the article. Such errors may include typographical mistakes, inaccuracies in author names or affiliations, figure or table labeling issues, or omissions such as funding acknowledgements.

Types of corrections:

  • Erratum: Issued for errors introduced during the editorial or production process
  • Corrigendum: Issued for errors identified by the authors

Correction procedure:

  • Authors or readers should notify the editorial office promptly upon identifying an error
  • The editorial team will evaluate the request and verify the nature of the correction
  • Once approved, a formal correction notice will be published and linked to the original article
  • The correction will be reflected in the article metadata and indexed accordingly to ensure transparency and traceability
