Withdrawal Policy

The Jazer Journal of Translational Health Science (JJTHS) is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and transparency in scholarly publishing. In line with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the journal maintains a clear policy for manuscript withdrawal prior to publication.

A withdrawal applies to manuscripts that have been submitted but not yet published. Requests for withdrawal may be considered when initiated by the authors or when significant ethical or scientific concerns are identified during the editorial process.

Permitted grounds for withdrawal include:

  • Duplicate or simultaneous submission to another journal
  • Significant author-identified errors requiring major revision
  • Identification of serious flaws in the study after submission
  • Authorship disputes or conflicts

Withdrawal procedure:

  • Authors must submit a formal withdrawal request to the editorial office, signed or confirmed by all co-authors
  • Withdrawal requests are considered prior to acceptance; once a manuscript is accepted, withdrawal is generally not permitted
  • If a manuscript has already been published, it cannot be withdrawn and may only be considered for retraction in accordance with the journal’s retraction policy

Unethical withdrawal practices, such as withdrawal during advanced stages of peer review without valid justification, may result in restrictions on future submissions at the discretion of the editorial office.

Post-Publication Ethics Statement

The journal adheres to internationally recognized standards and best practices, including those of COPE, ICMJE, and CrossRef, to ensure the integrity of the scholarly record. Authors, reviewers, and readers are encouraged to report any concerns related to published content to the editorial office. All reported issues will be evaluated objectively and addressed through appropriate editorial actions, including corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions where necessary.
