Retraction Policy
The Jazer Journal of Translational Health Science (JJTHS) is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and transparency in scholarly publishing. The journal maintains a clear post-publication policy to address errors, ethical concerns, or instances of research misconduct, in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
A retraction may be issued when a published article is found to contain significant errors or ethical violations that compromise the reliability or validity of its findings. Retractions may be initiated by authors, editors, or third parties, and are evaluated and approved by the Editor-in-Chief in consultation with the Editorial Board.
Grounds for retraction include, but are not limited to:
- Plagiarism or substantial duplication of previously published work
- Data fabrication, falsification, or manipulation
- Undisclosed conflicts of interest that affect the integrity of the work
- Ethical violations in human or animal research
- Major methodological or analytical errors that invalidate the findings
- Manipulation or compromise of the peer review process
Retraction procedure:
- The original article will remain accessible to preserve the scholarly record, but will be clearly marked as “Retracted” on all pages
- A formal retraction notice will be published, detailing the reasons for retraction and linked to the original article
- The article’s DOI will remain active and will link to both the original content and the retraction notice
- The retraction will be indicated in the journal’s Table of Contents and reflected in all associated metadata
