Unethical Authorship

The Jazer Journal of Translational Health Science (JJTHS) maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward unethical authorship practices. This includes inappropriate attribution of authorship such as guest authorship (listing individuals without significant contribution), gift authorship (including individuals based on status, seniority, or obligation), and ghost authorship (omitting individuals who have made substantial contributions). Such practices undermine scientific integrity and may result in manuscript rejection, post-publication correction or retraction, and notification of the authors’ affiliated institutions where appropriate.

The corresponding author holds primary responsibility for the integrity of the authorship and submission process. This includes ensuring that all listed authors meet the established authorship criteria, managing communication between the journal and all co-authors, confirming that all authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript, and coordinating responses to editorial and peer review comments on behalf of all contributors.
